1st Day of Preschool

All my prep was worth it as the 1st day with off without a hitch.  Can't believe these two are big enough for school.  I sure love them and wish them a year of learning and joy!

We have been busy wrapping up our back-to-school shopping etc. Love this time of year.

Back to School

We headed out to Willow Springs Elementary for Back to School night for the twins 1st year in preschool.  This day has been long in the making and I am excited to see what they are going to learn with their classes and teachers.

My parents came through Salt Lake City on the way to Spokane for the funeral of my Uncle Stan.  They had a two hour layover so I suggested that we meet them and bring them dinner.  I am so glad we did.  Emma sure loved chatting it up with Grandpa and Tyler loved hanging out with Grandma.

August 1 - August 14th

Emma all registered for Dance Class at Utah Dance Artists. Her favorite part was her dance bag.

Emma inherited some awesome school clothes.  She took them out and exclaimed "I am a lucky girl!"  Yes, you are my dear yes, you are!

July re-cap

July was fairly low-key for us.  Lots of playing in pools and cleaning/organizing the house.  The biggest thing this month is that Emma got potty trained.  Way to go Emma!!! It was so hard for me to have the patience but once we got it we pretty much got it.

8.17.13 - Potty Training Day 1.  Whatever it takes..  I gave in and stuck the potty in front of the TV just so we could grab attention and use the thing.  Hanging out in the bathroom was awful and Tyler got in way too much trouble.

8.18.13 - Check out our Potty Chart. She is doing a great job!

8.20.13 - She did it.  Number 1 and Number 2 in the potty!  We earned a sparkly dress. So proud of her and me actually!!!

8.20.13 - While potty training Tyler got a little neglected.  Here he is fast asleep for bedtime in the most comfortable position.  He was a trooper though and did a great job entertaining himself (good and bad) while I helped Emma.

Everyday Emma asks to go in the pool we get dressed, fill-up the water and then she bundles herself up in a towel and sits in a chair.  So funny!

Tyler has interest in the Piano.  Here he is playing his toy one with drum sticks.  We like to make lots of banging type music in this house.

We had a family party with the Pritchett Grandparents today to celebrate these two turning 3.

Cakes by Nothing Bundt cake!  One for each and then the adults shared the big one.
