New Years Eve

This year we celebrated with family and friends.   We first headed up to Bountiful to hang out with Uncle Matt and Aunt Janet.  We ate yummy food and then play Zolten Seven, and a rousing game of dutch blitz.  No pics of the dutch blitz because it was a crazy game.

Next we came home and put the twins down, and did our own little toast to 2011

Lastly, we headed up stairs for the watching of the ball and officially rang in the new year with this fun bunch of people.

Christmas Day

We loved spending Christmas Day with my family in Santa Barbara.  Bruce and I were able to catch up on some much needed rest and it was nice to not have to shove our car out of the snow.  Here are some fun snapshots of the day.

Twins with Santa

While we were home in Santa Barbara we took the twins to meet with Santa.  It was nice and warm and Grandma Lenny and Grandpa Swihart were able to join us as well as Beth, and her girls.  What a fun thing to do on Christmas eve.

New Tradition - Temple Square

Since we now live in UT, we thought it was a good idea to start a new tradition and take the twins to temple square to see the lights.  It was very cold so we bundled up the twins and took them out.  Afterward we grabbed some hot coco!  Love this new tradition!!!

Christmas PJ's

Here is the only photo I have of the twins in their cute PJ's.  It was hard to capture because one would usually have a blow-out or spit-up on the outfit before I could get a pic.  I thought our Christmas Angels were pretty cute though!!!

Emma asleep

This girl can sleep anywhere.  She loves to sleep on her tummy and if we are near a window even better.  Is anything sweeter then a sleeping baby?  Love this girl!!!!

How to watch a BYU game..

This year we were able to go to Mom & Dad Pritchett's to watch BYU play University of Utah in football. We ordered pizza from brickoven with rootbeer and relaxed.  It was such a fun day.  Going to miss the time of year that BYU played the U but we will still watch the game in the fall.  Sadly BYU lost but it was a close game.

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!

I feel that there is so much to be thankful for.  I am thankful for my Husband who works hard to provide for his family, his sense of humor which makes me laugh, and for the awesome Father that he is to the twins.  I am thankful for the twins and how much they have changed my life for the better.  Last year at this time we were wondering if IVF worked and here we are a year later and I wouldn't change any of it.  I am thankful for friends who support me and help me find the positive side of things when I am faced with a challenge.  I am thankful to have this wonderful life and it is filled with great joy.

Here is a picture of the Pritchett men (and little boy on Thanksgiving day)

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family and friends.

I love this pic.  Sometimes all we need to do is hold on tight to those that we love.

Cold Weather

So lately we have had our mix of rain and snow here which limits the walks with the twins which we all need.  However, yesterday I decided to try out the new snowsuits for Emma and Tyler and I thought that they looked pretty cute:)

General Conference Oct. 2010

This year we did something different.  Since we live in Salt Lake City now it was the perfect time to attend General Conference in person.  The spirit that was there was so peaceful and to see our prophet walk in was truly an experience not to be forgotten.

Turning #33

Today I am 33.  Wow how different life is from 32 to 33. This past year, I got pregnant, had the twins, and moved across the country.  I didn't need anything big for the day but a nice dinner with Bruce!
Bruce did a great job and we headed to market street grill for dinner where he gave me 3 pearls to represent the 3 pearls in my life.  It was wonderful and perfect!  Here is to an fun filled year!!
