July re-cap

July was fairly low-key for us.  Lots of playing in pools and cleaning/organizing the house.  The biggest thing this month is that Emma got potty trained.  Way to go Emma!!! It was so hard for me to have the patience but once we got it we pretty much got it.

8.17.13 - Potty Training Day 1.  Whatever it takes..  I gave in and stuck the potty in front of the TV just so we could grab attention and use the thing.  Hanging out in the bathroom was awful and Tyler got in way too much trouble.

8.18.13 - Check out our Potty Chart. She is doing a great job!

8.20.13 - She did it.  Number 1 and Number 2 in the potty!  We earned a sparkly dress. So proud of her and me actually!!!

8.20.13 - While potty training Tyler got a little neglected.  Here he is fast asleep for bedtime in the most comfortable position.  He was a trooper though and did a great job entertaining himself (good and bad) while I helped Emma.

Everyday Emma asks to go in the pool we get dressed, fill-up the water and then she bundles herself up in a towel and sits in a chair.  So funny!

Tyler has interest in the Piano.  Here he is playing his toy one with drum sticks.  We like to make lots of banging type music in this house.

We had a family party with the Pritchett Grandparents today to celebrate these two turning 3.

Cakes by Nothing Bundt cake!  One for each and then the adults shared the big one.

Thanksgiving Point Petting Zoo

We headed to Thanksgiving Point's petting Zoo. The twins had so much fun.  Waiting for the pony rides caused a melt down and after riding them caused a melt down from Emma but we still had a really great day.  I can't wait to go back!

Thanks Ms. Corrine for being part of our family for the last year. We learned and grew so much and Tyler has become a different child.  We really appreciate what you do and how you do it!

Thanks Jennifer Young for letting us come over and play.  My kids love your kids and are always excited to head on over to the fun house.  You are the best.

Kiyoko in town

Kiyoko came for a visit and we were thrilled. It has been about 10 years or so since we have seen each other but we fell right back into step when we saw each other.  I have been telling the twins about their Aunt Koko forever and I am glad they finally got to meet her.  We didn't take any pictures until the very end.
