2.16.12 - Emma

 I put an air mattress in Tyler's room so that we can help this kid learn how to sleep.  It is getting better and I sure wish I had done this sooner!  20 months with only a few nights of full sleep is 20 months too long. 

2.17.12- Air mattress jumping

 Emma loves to give big hugs to everyone.  She will walk up to you and say "Hug" and then wrap her little arms around your neck as tight as possible.  We absolutely love her hugs.  

2.21.12 - Tyler not sure if he wants to receive a hug from Emma

2.21.12 - Precious!!  Tyler accepted the hug and it melted this Mom's heart!!!

2.22.12 - Running.  This boy is in constant motion.  You will find him running from one of the house to the other.  I need to get him into some classes to burn off some of this energy.

2.26.12- OCD Maybe?  Bruce has a tendency to sort his candy by color or line up things when they are out of order.  I am not really one to talk.  I have a folding board from my friend Sherri M.  that has made my laundry day so much fun!  So today I gave Tyler lunch and he took it out of the bowl and lined in up on the edge of his tray and then proceeded to eat it.  Funny that we didn't teach him that and yet it appears.  How else are we going to "screw up" our kids?!?

Valentines Day 2012

Valentines Day was fun this year.  We got Emma and Tyler each an outfit.  Bruce brought me flowers (which I didn't get a picture of).  It was relaxing and enjoyable. I sure love my valentines!

February 1, 2012 - February 11, 2012

2-1-12 - What is a chair for?  Jumping, Flipping and watching TV upside down - at least according to Tyler.

2-6-12 - What is a dryer for?  Not for your clothes!  Emma has found that she loves to hang out in the dryer.  The only problem is sometimes Tyler closes the door on her and she isn't so crazy about that.  The other thing that happens is they both crawl in there and there isn't much room.  

2-11-12 - Hanging out with Dad.  Is there anything better then that on a Saturday.

I can't believe it is time to take my baby to get a haircut but it is.  His hair was getting really long and I was ready to have him looking like a big boy.

Jan 8, 2012 - Jan 27, 2012

1-9-12 - Emma got a hold of a necklace today and wore it like she was a queen.  Here she is telling me about how pretty the necklace is.

1-12-12 - Flying Airplane with Dad.  This is one of Emma's favorite activities with her Dad.  As she flies she waves her arm like she is helping the motion.

1-13-12 - Tyler loves to climb and jump.  This boy will climb and jump off of anything and I mean anything.  Here he is mid-step off of the box.

1-14-12 - Airplane with Baby.  We do this with the twins a lot and today I looked over and Emma was doing it with her baby.  She loves her baby and is such a cute care giver.

1-18-12 - Into the toys.  Today Emma woke up early from her nap and was playing with a few toys when she got a hold of the box and dumped them all out and then sat right in the middle of them.  Funny girl.

1-19-12 - Sleep Issues.  Tyler is having trouble sleeping.  He wakes up most nights from 1:30am - 3:30am.  Today during nap time I could tell he was still tired so I took a pillow and a blanket and he went back to sleep on the couch.  We have tried everything to get this guy to sleep through the night but most of the time it just doesn't work.  

1-27-12 - Playing on Dad's chair.  I love these moments when we are quite and playing nicely together. 

Week of Jan 1, 2012 - Jan 7, 2012

So since I am not great at a picture of a day but I do take a lot of pics of my crazy kids I will post as it comes together.  

1-1-12 - Getting Ready for the Day boxes.  With an Early Church Schedule and 3 people to get ready we have implemented the boxes.  I love having all their things in one place to help us have a nice Sunday Morning.

1-2-12 - Tyler enjoying his Chobani.  We always have a yogurt snack and they love it.   I haven't let them feed it to themselves yet but I am working up the courage.

1-2-12 - We are so happy when Dad comes home.  The kids just run to Bruce when we comes home from work.  They play and have a fun time. 

1-3-12- Emma - Just hanging out.  I don't think this is comfortable but, she sure loves to sit in between the couch and have a conversation.

1-4-12 - Snack Basket - I use to spend a lot of time pulling together snacks and we had lots of bags on top of the fridge which drove me kind of crazy.  Now when I come home I put our treats in baggies and stick the bunch on the fridge so if I am running out the door or need a quick snack for the kids I have it right at my finger tips. 

1-6-12 - The Prince and the Pea.  Today we were cleaning up blankets.  I like to wash our TV watching blankets once a month just to have everything stay clean!  Today I was folding, and stacking them when Oliver thought this was a nice play to take a nap.  Made me laugh but he was very content!
