I took Bruce to Bucci's in Davidson, NC.

It is an Italian restaurant that our friends told us about. 

Bruce said that the food was "stuff-your-cheeks-full" good.

When we got home I presented Bruce with his favorite cake.

It is from a company called Tizzerts.

It is a Chocolate Truffle Cake - YUM YUM!

Nicole & Nohel Wedding May 31, 2008

A couple of weeks ago our dear friends Nicole and Nohel were married.  The wedding was in Santa Barbara, CA and took place at the Court House.  The reception was held at Stella Mares.  What a wonderful day it was and we were so happy to be a part of their special day.  We love you both!!!

Kim & Bruce's Trip to Linville Gorge

This past weekend Bruce and I headed up to Linville Gorge.  It was wonderful to be out in the wilderness and together away from technology.

Crowders Mtn.

Yesterday Bruce, Oliver and I had the chance to climb Crowders Mountain. Here is a link to the site if you want more information: Crowders Mountain Website

We took the Backside trail, which is .9 miles one way and almost straight up the mountain.   At the end there are 336 stairs you climb to reach t

he summit.  

It was a perfect spring day here in North Carolina and we feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful place.

Hi there,

We have now entered the world of blogging.  It seems as most of my friends use this already and I am behind in the times.  What a fun way to stay in touch with people everywhere.  We both have moved so much and have friends around the world.  It is amazing what technology can provide for us because 30 years ago the idea of blogging was unheard of.
